About the ASI Level 1 Surf Instructor Apprenticeship
The apprenticeship is a really flexible and intuitive way of gaining your surf instructor qualification, which suits everyone who is keen to become a coach. It gives you the opportunity to develop your skills and learn all the important information at your own pace.
As part of your apprenticeship we will we go through the practical; including delivery of beach lesson, tips & techniques for in water coaching (super important), and different scenarios. This will also count as 5 hours of your work experience hours. (Next dates Spring 2023).
ASI LEVEL 1 SURF INSTRUCTOR APPRENTICESHIP ASI (association of Surfing Instructors)
Complete theory on the ASI e-learning platform and complete your practical on-the-job instruction experience with Discovery Surf School.

WORK EXP HOURS
You will need to complete 25 hours work exp with an ASI Surf school, which includes Discovery Surf School.
